1.
Do I need PayPal to order?
No, you are
not required to have a PayPal account to purchase from this store.
Although if you already have a PayPal account you may use it..
We use PayPal to process all credit and debit card orders. We
gladly accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard,
American Express and Switch/Solo etc, in addition to regular account
payments through PayPal.
We use PayPal for payments because they are one of the largest
and safest processors. PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential
information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure
Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of
128-bits (the highest level commercially available). This means
that we NEVER see your bank or account details.
We do not accept cheques, postal orders or any other method of
payment other than those listed above.
2.
How secure is ordering?
All payments
are processed by PayPal which means that we never see your bank
or account details.
Any details that we do gather such as name and address will always
be kept private. We will only use your details for the purpose
you provided them for and we do not share, sell or swap your details
with any third parties, at all - for any reason.
3. What
is your returns policy?
We offer a
FULL REFUND as long as the item is returned within 7 days.
We do not require a 'good' reason. If you do not want it, for
whatever reason, then please just contact us straight away to
let us know you are returning it and we will refund your money
once we have received it.
Please note that if the item is faulty or not as described - we
will refund all of your money including postage and packaging.
If the item is not the right size or you have decided that you
no longer want the item then we will fully refund your money minus
the actual cost of posting the item to you which will be calcualted
at Royal mail standard rates regardless of whether free shipping
has been offered on the item or not.
The above is subject to the item being returned within 7 days
of receipt.
This does not affect your statutory rights under UK law.
4. How
long will delivery take?
We aim to
deliver within 2-3 days. However, we cannot dispatch the order
until the payment has fully cleared so please bear this in mind
if you pay by e-cheque or something similar which can take 10
days to clear.
UK delivery should be 2 days after we have dispatched, Europe
around 5 days. Please allow 10 days after dispatch for a worldwide
package to reach you.
5.
What should I do if something is wrong with my order?
If your order
has not arrived then contact us straight away. If your order has
been damaged in transit then email us and send the item back straight
away for a full refund. It must be retruned within 7 days of receipt.

7. How
do you grade the condition of the vintage clothing?
It's possible
that we may miss small flaws in the vintage item as happens from
time to time even though we thoroughly check each garment before
offering it for sale and re-check it before dispatch. We use the
following information to grade our vintage clothing:
Deadstock: True vintage clothing that has never been worn
Brand New: As stated. Retro style clothing that is modern
and has never been worn
Mint: Vintage clothing which is in mint condition. No noted
flaws
Excellent: May be very minor noted flaws which in no way
will compromise the item being sold
Very Good: Wearable as purchased, should not have to make
any repairs. Item may have a few more noticable flaws or may be
more worn in. As stated still very wearable with lots of life
left in garment
Good: Wearable but may have more noticable flaws. For example
a small stain that may not wash out etc.
Fair: Repairs may be needed and may have major flaws that
will be pointed out.
As seen: Occassionally we will sell an item that is in
poor condition because it may have special value attahced to it.
It is rare that we would sell an item like this and all flaws
will be pointed out.
8. How
can I ensure I buy the correct size?
We measure
the clothing whilst they are lay flat on the floor, in inches.
It will be an exact measurement, not an approximate one so bear
in mind that a comfortble fit will usually be better.
Trousers and Skirts
Waist: Laid flat and then doubled for the waist size
Inside Leg: From the inside crotch, down the inseam to the very
bottom of the leg.
Skirt Length: Straight down the back from the top to hem at the
bottom
Shirts, Blouses, Tops, Coats, Jackets
Arm: Shoulder seam to wrist cuff (including cuff if applicable)
Length: Straight down the back of the garment not including collar
if there is one
Waist: Across normal waist when laid flat then doubled
Chest/Bust: Measured across when laid flat underarm to underarm,
then doubled
